Finance and Administration
At present, there
are two banks operating in the city: the Philippine Commercial
International Bank (PCI Bank) and the Rural Bank of Escalante.
By 2003, Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) will be setup.
Aside from the banks and National Government Agency representatives,
private financing institutions which facilitate business and
investments include: four (4) lending companies, eight (8) pawnshops,
and five (5) multi-purpose cooperatives in Escalante.
