The main street traversing the Pag-asa Homes connects to the Pag-asa Habitat Homes and the Core Shelter. This low-cost housing program which has benefitted poor families and government employees, was made possible through the National Economic Development Foundation, Habitat for Humanity Philippines, and the National Housing Authority, in cooperation with the Provincial Government.

Perspective view of the proposed Escalante Public Market. This multi-million project was financed out of the Presidential Stimulus Fund. Currently, the loan application is being processed to finance the construction of the remaining portion of the market.
