Peace and Order

The Escalante Philippine National Police has 40 officers and men and 5 civilian employees. Three (3) other detachments, strategically located in the city provide added security. These are the 601st Regional Mobile Group based at Brgy. Jonobjonob; the Army detachment at Brgy. Tamlang; and the PNP detachment at Brgy. Old Poblacion.

Volunteer groups like the Kabalikat-CIVICOM, NEAR 6, the Bantay-Escalante Movement, the Bantay-Dagat Task Force, the Rescue-ESCORT Group provide auxiliary security services.
